Cathryn McGill and the cast of "Roots Revival" present an evening of singing and dancing in the style of the 1930s Cotton Club.
Join us for an uptown-Old Town cabaret where Cab Calloway meets Ethel Waters and Duke Ellington in a lively, fast paced musical cabaret with the toe tappin’ , finger snappin’, torch carryin’ , "have-you-laughin' " songs from the Harlem Renaissance era. No question about it, the joint will be jumpin’ as the A-list cast of the critically acclaimed homegrown Broadway worthy musical Roots Revival take us on a journey to the 1930s New York City Harlem Renaissance, where swing was king, fashionistas ruled and nothing was impossible above 125th street at the Cotton Club.
Cathryn McGill, Roots Revival writer/producer, has assembled a stellar cast of New Mexico’s favorite singers and dancers for this revue. There will surely be some fun happenin’, and it won’t the same without you.
This event is made possible by the generous support of American Home Furniture.
