Casa San Ysidro
973 Old Church Road
Albuquerque, NM 87048

Our new collections book is out and we want to celebrate with a party at Casa. Join us for a look into 1950s Casa San Ysidro, before its life as a museum, during its construction by local community members and its owners, the Minge. New Mexico was a busy place in the 1950s - think of the science, the art, the writing, and the archaeology. How does Casa San Ysidro fit into this context? How did this 19th Century territorial abode house grow into a Spanish colonial rancho without a time machine? We will reveal all!

Music from 2 - 3:30 with Jody Vanesky and Groove Time! Jump blues and swing. Raise a little dancing dust!

Free admission and programming at Casa San Ysidro from 1 - 4 p.m. on the second Saturday of every month. Visitors are invited to take self-paced tours of this historic property.
