The City of Albuquerque celebrated its 303rd birthday on Saturday, April 18th with the Founders Day Fiesta, formerly the “Fiestas de Alburquerque.” The celebration was held throughout Old Town Plaza. Thanks for participating and joining us for this wonderful annual event. We hope you all had fun.
Highlights of the event included the 2nd Annual Outdoor Market featuring merchants from Old Town, live music and dance performances, and an assortment of activities for the kids.
The Cosmic Carnival, a FREE family science festival featuring telescopes and hands on science activities, was also held in conjunction with the Founders Day Fiesta.
