Come out and enjoy Albuquerque's newest old tradition - Albuquerque's Old Town during late spring, summer and early fall. Programming slows down during late fall and winter months!

 

Old Town Holiday Stroll — Friday, December 4th
4:00 - 9:00 p.m.

Kick off the holiday season with Albuquerque’s biggest Christmas party!

Noon to 9:00 p.m. — Enjoy entertainment throughout Old Town

6:00 p.m. — Albuquerque Fire Department Color Guard will raise the flag, accompanied by the National Anthem

6:10 p.m. Blessings of the Tree by Father Dennis Garcia

6:15 p.m. — Introduction by KOB-TV's Steve Stucker, messages by City Councilor Debbie O'Malley and Mayor Richard Berry, lighting of the giant Christmas tree at Plaza Don Luis, Santa Claus parade around the Plaza

Santa Claus will be in residence for the evening to hear children’s wishes.

Enjoy the glow of thousands of luminarias throughout Old Town.

How to get here: Take a city bus or RapidRide to the Old Town stop.

Limited parking will be available in museum parking lots nearby with shuttle service to Old Town. We encourage the use of public transportation whenever possible.

Handicap parking and access will be available.

Congregate and celebrate in the tradition of the community block party! Themed parties will present a variety of fun and exciting music and dance performances in the heart of Old Town Albuquerque.
