View the updated construction notifications from November 10, 2016

Project Overview

The Westside Yucca Sewer Interceptor Project is designed to improve sewer flow and reduce sewer odors along the Central Avenue corridor near Yucca Street in southwest Albuquerque.  The project will include installation of a new sewer line from 58th Street and Avalon Road south to 59th Street and Churchill Road and east on Churchill Road to Old Coors. The project will have significant traffic impacts along the affected streets, but new sewer services will be installed for all homes and businesses along the route of the sewer line.  Homes and businesses on 59th Street and Churchill Road south of Central Avenue will also receive new water services.

A public meeting was held on Tuesday, April 26 to review the design for the project.
