Trudy Jones of District 8 was elected Vice-President; she is entering her third year as a City Councilor and most recently served as the Chair of the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Water Utility Authority. Don Harris, District 9, will serve as Chair of the Committee-of-the-Whole, who is responsible for chairing budget hearing and facilitating the City budget process.

“As City Council President, I look forward to working with the Council, Mayor Berry, and the Administration for the coming year. I believe if we continue to work together, we will be able to serve our community and get through these challenging times that we face,” said President Sanchez.
