Heights Community Center is located near Central New Mexico College (formerly Albuquerque TVI) and the University of New Mexico. The Center has a dance hall, half court gym, computer lab, ceramics/pottery room and multipurpose rooms.

 

Center Hours

• Regular Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 6:00 pm

Youth Programs

• After School Program: M/T/Th/F, 3:00-6:00 pm; Wed, 1pm-6pm. Begins August 20, 2009.

Adult Programs

• Folkmads: Saturday or Sunday, 6:30 pm-11:00 pm - Contact: Folkmads hotline at 505-345-8041.
  Participants in this group MUST wear soft-soled shoes that do not have black soles. High heels and cowboy boots are not allowed. Shoe covers may be worn if proper dance shoes are not available.
• Swing Dance: Tuesday, 7:00 pm-11:00 pm - Contact: Desi Brown at 505-256-0668

• Pottery and Ceramics Class: Wednesday, 1:30pm-5:00pm. All are welcome!
