Voting by Absentee Ballot

The Office of the City Clerk follows the absentee voting procedures as outlined by state and local law.

The Clerk encourages all absentee voters to allow plenty of time for the absentee process.

Absent voters need to factor in the mailing time for both the application and the ballot.

The Clerk will only accept application on the approved form.

Voting by Absentee Ballot

  • Be sure you sign the Voter's Oath prior to returning your absentee ballot. The Clerk cannot count unsigned ballots and cannot return unsigned ballots to voters after they are received.

    • The voter's caregiver
  • All Runoff & Special Election Absentee Ballots must be returned by 7 p.m. Nov. 19, Election Day. Ballots received after that time will not be counted.
