The Executive Committee in charge of maintaining the City of Albuquerque Development Process Manual is considering amending portions of the manual. The following areas are being proposed for amendment:

  • Preface, Development Process Manual Update Procedure

    This amendment is intended to clarity the Development Process Manual Update Procedure and to make it more consistent with the other City rules and procedures.

  • Chapter 22, Sections 5, 7, and 9

    These amendment are intended to facilitate design grading and erosion control with respect to storm water management, provide supplementary materials for drainage submittals related to storm water management, provide guidance for storm water control permitting related to erosion and sediment control and define responsibilities for inspection and maintenance related to storm water pollution control.

  • Chapter 23, Section 7

    This amendment is intended to facilitate the addition of on-street parking for streets classified as local or major local roadways (collectors and above may be considered in certain circumstances on a case-by-base basis).

  • Chapter 25, Section 8

    This amendment is intended to re-define the variable "A (Fire Area)" within the fire flow equation that is used to estimate fire flow requirements.

About the Meeting & Proposed Amendments

The meeting will be open to the public, and any person may give verbal or written testimony in favor of or in opposition to the proposed amendments.
