Revenue Manual

This document contains a detailed inventory of revenues received by the City's General Fund. This document, City of Albuquerque General Fund Revenue Sources, was last updated in January of 2000. It provides documentation on all recurring General Fund revenue sources, including inter-fund transfers. The entries are generally arranged by revenue account number.

A typical entry for a revenue source includes the following: the revenue account number; the authority under which a fee or tax is imposed or a revenue producing activity is pursued; a description of the revenue source; a statement indicating the rationale or purpose behind the revenue source; a current schedule of fees of charges; a summary of changes in the schedule of charges or other events affecting the flow of revenues to the account; information on participation or activity levels; and the dollar amounts of revenues generated over the past several years or since the revenue source was first introduced.
