Mayor Chávez to Hold Community Gatherings

ALBUQUERQUE , N.M. - Mayor Martin J. Chávez will hold several “town hall” community gatherings throughout Albuquerque in April and early May to discuss the City’s budget, tax relief or any issues the community may find necessary.

The meetings have been scheduled as follows:

Thursday, April 19th ,7:00-9:00 PM @ Alamosa Community Center
6900 Gonzales Rd. SW

Saturday, April 21st, 2:00-4:00 PM @ Don Newton Taylor Ranch Community Center - 4900 Kachina NW

Monday, April 30th, 7:00-9:00 PM @ Highland Senior Center - 131 Monroe NE

Tuesday, May 1st, 6:00-8:00 PM @ Bear Canyon Senior Center
4645 Pitt NE

Wednesday, May 2nd, 6:00-8:00 PM @ North Valley Senior Center
3825 4th Street NW

“I look forward to meeting with the citizens of Albuquerque to discuss the budget, taxes, or any concerns or issues that the community might have. Albuquerque has important decisions ahead, and it is crucial the citizens know that their government is accessible and their voice is important,” Chávez said.
