The Rio Grande Inn is located within easy walking distance of Albuquerque’s Old Town, which has lots of shopping opportunities and many excellent restaurants, as well as some historic and educational venues such as The New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science and the Albuquerque Museum of Art and History. Exploring New Mexico

Albuquerque's Old Town is within walking distance of the ABQ BioPark and the conference hotel. It offers a wide variety shopping, dining and cultural experiences.

The Albuquerque Convention and Visitor's Bureau is another great resource for planning an Albuquerque trip.

Friday's post conference trip will include a ride on the Rail Runner to Santa Fe, New Mexico's capitol city, which is rich in heritage and history.
