Winter Fire Colors Heat Up the Mediterranean Conservatory

Cyclamen in the Winter Fire Colors Show

Visit the ABQ BioPark Botanic Garden's Mediterranean Conservatory for a jolt of color in the dead of winter. The annual Winter Fire Colors Flower Show runs through February 26.

More than 300 fiery cyclamens light up the indoor garden with bright reds, hot pinks and brilliant whites. Fallen aspen logs, white and green foliage and other flowers complete this heart-warming scene.

"This is the time of year that we all start to long for spring and some color in our lives, and this show gives us that," said Catherine Hubbard, Botanic Garden Manager.  "It might be winter outside, but the show in the garden's conservatory lifts spirits with its pinks and purples, and ignites our excitement for the beauty of plants."

Visit the garden's indoor conservatory and enjoy a warmer climate with these Mediterranean plants. The Winter Fire Color Show is included with general admission to the Albuquerque Aquarium and Botanic Garden.
