Dr. Stephen L. Mathias
An avid recreational and racing cyclist, Dr. Mathias is a geneticists and computational biologist. He serves as the Northeast Albuquerque representative on the committee.
Diane Albert
Diane Albert is an avid recreational bicyclist and bicycle advocate who commutes to work. She serves as a board member for both Bicycle Coalition of New Mexico and BikeABQ. She serves as the Unincorporated East of the Rio Grande representative on the committee.
James E. Plagens
An Albuquerque native, James Plagens has more than 35 years of experience in law enforcement, including several years in criminal and civil law. He serves as an At-Large representative on the committee.
Ronald A. Nelson
Ronald Nelson has a background in nursing from his 22 years spent in the U.S. Navy. A recreational cyclist, Nelson serves as the Southwest representative on the committee.
Scott Hale
A devoted bike rider, Scott Hale has logged more than 150,000 miles bicycling including two trans-America trips, several trans-Canada ride, and bicycle tours of Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Hale serves as the Northwest representative on the committee.
Donald G. Simonson
Donald Simonson is an active member of the N.M. Touring Society and a retired University of New Mexico professor. He serves as an At-Large representative on the committee.
