The latest peer review covered the period of July 1, 2010 through June 30, 2013 and followed standards and guidelines contained in the Peer Review Guide published by the Association of Local Government Auditors (ALGA). The external peer review determines whether the reviewed organization's internal quality control system is adequate and whether quality control policies and procedures are being complied with to provide the audit organization with reasonable assurance of conforming with applicable professional standards.
