Take a break from the seasonal hustle and bustle to come down, relax and enjoy the great December weather at the ABQ BioPark. Enjoy the sights of the season throughout the month with December Garden Holidays. The Botanic Garden, Zoo, Tingley Beach and Aquarium will be decorated with holiday trees, cut evergreens and dried naturals, poinsettias of all colors and tropical plants.

The conservatories at the garden will feature poinsettias, tropical bromeliads, flowering amaryllis, marigolds and succulents. We will have a miniature Dickens village in the Education classroom for the craft nights, festive table toppers in the Shark Reef Café, and holiday décor and a luminaria train in our miniature railroad area. Our farm house, Ocotillo Plaza, Curandera Garden, and Tingley train station will feature traditional New Mexico décor including ornamental peppers, chile ristras and evergreen garlands. The Bugarium will have their own special tree decorated with specimen insects and the Aquarium will feature gold poinsettias and an aquatic-themed holiday tree.
