BioPark Ambassadors

Join the BioPark's Welcoming Team! Ambassadors act as hosts and hostesses for visitors of the ABQ BioPark Zoo, Aquarium and Botanic Garden, explaining to visitors what exhibits are available, helping them plan their visit, and answering facility questions. By providing great customer care, ambassadors help to create an atmosphere conducive to conservation.

No admission is required - when you arrive at the front gate, simply let the cashier know you are here for the orientation.

No specialized knowledge is necessary to become a volunteer. BioPark staff will teach you everything you need to know in the orientation sessions. We ask that you bring your enthusiasm, a commitment to conservation, a sense of responsibility, and patience. Experienced volunteers and staff are available to assist you after orientation, and monthly volunteer meetings keep you up to date.
