The event aims to bring together community of all ages to gather and celebrate with live music, a balloon glow, and views of the City of Albuquerque’s Freedom 4th firework display. At the Balloon Museum you can ditch the crowds and support the programming of the Balloon Museum.

Lawn tickets are $10.00 for adults (17+) and FREE for children (16 & younger). Various lawn activities will be available for guests to enjoy prior to the fireworks. An outdoor upgrade “Sweet Seat” ticket option includes a reserved Adirondack chair sponsored by Lowes, a glass of Gruet sparkling wine and gourmet patriotic cookies from Rude Boy Cookies.
The event will feature a patriotic performance by the Albuquerque Concert Band and the Claudio Toulousse Jazz
band, followed by a Balloon Glow (weather permitting) presented by Rainbow Ryders. The Freedom 4th Fireworks will start around 9pm, and guests at the Balloon Museum will have a spectacular view! The Balloon Museum Shoppe will feature unique and local items to help celebrate 4th of July.
Food can either be brought on the lawn for a picnic or purchased from one of the food trucks. Guests with lawn tickets can bring their own chairs and picnic blankets, or reserve a table from the museum. For guests looking to enjoy the festivities from inside with air-conditioning, floor to ceiling window views & balcony access, the exclusive Stars & Stripes Dinner package provides the ultimate experience. It includes a catered dinner with 4th of July fare prepared by The Cooperage as well as full access to the lawn, concert, and all the activities, Early bird tickets for the Stars & Stripes Dinner package are $35.00 per guest. Stars & Stripes Dinner tickets are limited.
Traffic and parking to the Balloon Museum on the 4th of July intersects with the Freedom 4th traffic heading to Balloon Fiesta Park. It is highly recommended to purchase Red, White & Balloons tickets before June 25, in order to receive a premier parking pass for the Balloon Museum lot and to benefit from early bird admission prices. With a Balloon Museum parking pass on your dash, parking attendants will direct you to the Balloon Museum lot. Day of admission is available to Balloon Museum viewing area, but parking at Balloon Museum is not guaranteed.
