Air Quality Permit Application, U.S. Air Force/Kirtland Air Force Base, Site 58

U.S. Air Force/Kirtland Air Force Base requests an air quality permit in Application #3331

The U.S. Air Force/Kirtland Air Force Base has submitted an application, for a new air quality construction permit, to the Air Quality Program (Program) of the City of Albuquerque Environmental Health Department. The application was received by the Program October 19, 2017.   The owner of the facility is the U.S. Air Force – Kirtland Air Force Base, 2050 Wyoming Blvd. SE, Suite A-116b, Kirtland AFB, NM 87117-5270.  The facility is located at Site 58 on the southern loop of the interior perimeter of Manzano Fence Road in the south center area of the base.  This application file has been assigned Permit Application No. 3331.

The application is to request an air quality permit for a soil vapor extraction system.

Comment on this Application

If a person wishes to receive notification of the availability of the Program’s analysis for their review and comment, they must express that interest in writing to the Program before the end of the public comment period on January 5, 2018. Interested persons may submit written comments and evidence, request a public information hearing, or both on the permit application to the Program. Comments will be accepted and considered if postmarked by the end of the public comment period.
