The Rudy Boy Experiment
Southwest Rock and Blues innovators The Rudy Boy Experiment hail from the land of enchantment of Albuquerque, New Mexico. The act has become very popular in the western U.S. This 3-piece group features the multi-talented Rudy "Boy" Jaramillo on vocals, as well as lead and rhythm guitar. Rudy Boy has had singles including Glam Trash and Rough Around the Edges. Rudy Boy has released close to 10 albums over the past decade, with a growing national fan base anticipating each debut.
Joanie and Combo Special
What better name for a hot New Mexico band of well-seasoned musicians playing a tasty selection of tunes with a unique original flavor? We'll call the band....Joanie and Combo Special! The band is made up of five members: Joanie Cere on vocals, Larry Freedman on keyboard, Bob Barron on bass guitar, Melvin Crisp on drums, and Ed Schultz on guitar. Like the name suggests, COMBO SPECIAL plays a combination of styles. Hear jazz, blues and rock as well as classic Motown and some originals that will make you want to move and groove.
Sim Balkey & the Honky Tonk Crew
A lake, a bonfire, rowdy friends, and a guitar… A start to summarizing the vibe of Sim's music. His songs describe the good times and great memories made in the life of every fun loving American. Sim's lyrics and melodies are modern and fresh yet pay tribute to the roots of traditional country music by riding the line between today’s driving sound and yesterday’s laid-back feel… A “modern honky tonk” if you will. Live or recorded, there is no doubt that you are listening to a country song, but make no mistake, Simon Balkey’s music offers something for everyone. Simon and his band, which he calls his “Honky Tonk Crew” radiate energy from start to finish of every live show.
Simon is quickly carving his spot in the country music scene with the release of his first album “Shot of Life” and is currently working on the highly anticipated follow up album. Songs such as “Around That Cooler” and “Leaving You for Jack” are finding their way to radio and are quickly becoming party anthems for masses. All around, album or live show, this artist is about great times, through-and-through!
