The Safe Traffic Operations Program (STOP) cameras are no longer in operation.
However, if you have an outstanding citation, you will still be held responsible for the payment of that citation. Please read below for ways to take responsibility for your citation.
Payment by Mail
Send check or money order payable to:

- Citation No. and/or
- Vehicle License Plate No.
A $50 fee will be assessed for all checks returned for insufficient funds.
Credit Card Payments
You may pay your citation via the internet by logging on to www.photonotice.com. A fee of $3.95 will be charged to your credit card.
The following information is required:
- Citation No.
- Vehicle License Plate No.
- Enter city code: ABQ
Administrative Hearing
You may request a hearing to contest your violation. Complete Option "B" on the Notice of Violation and mail to:

If you do not have the original citation, you can send a hand-written request to the address above (include your name, address, and citation number) or call Redflex at 1-800-568-8405 to request a copy of the citation.
Nominations
Option "A" on your citation is no longer available. The registered owner is ultimately responsible to resolve the citation. You may request a hearing and bring the driver at the time with you to the hearing or request that person pay the citation.
Pre-Trial Hearings
If the individual requests a pre-trial hearing, the matter will be scheduled where the individual and the officer that issued the citation will meet to discuss the citation. That individual may plead no contest or request a formal hearing with a hearing officer.
Penalty Options
Once an Order is signed by the Hearing Officer, the individual has 10 days to choose one of the following options.
- Pay the citation fine.
- Request Community Service
- Request a Payment Plan
- Appeal decision to District Court.
- Failure to respond will result in a $25 default fee, with the account being turned over to a collection agency.
