Red Light Camera Ordinance >>

The City of Albuquerque has determined that there is a significant risk to the health and safety of the community from drivers who run red lights and exceed posted speed limits.

The City Of Albuquerque finds that these cameras produce scientifically reliable evidence of lowered violations. Violations captured by these cameras are punishable under the Nuisance Abatement Ordinance and are civil in nature. The City Of Albuquerque is able to provide this service in contract with RedFlex Technologies.

Citations Options

An individual or company can be cited by the camera for running a red light, speeding through an intersection or speeding where there is a stationary speed van.
