Learn about and develop tools to increase civic engagement and quality of life.
Developers, designers, community leaders and the wider public are invited to participate in the "Albuquerque Civic Tech Day Mini Conference and Hackathon."
The event -- one of more than 100 events taking place throughout the United States on June 1 and 2 as part of a "National Day of Civic Hacking" -- will explain civic tech, share resources and examples of locally developed apps, and provide opportunities to join teams to create digital tools.
"Albuquerque is proud to be a leader in Open Data nationally and is excited to be part of this event," Mayor Richard J. Berry said. "This event provides a great opportunity to improve our community through civic engagement and open data."
The City of Albuquerque is a co-organizer of this event.
