Gilbert A. Montano
Full Title: Deputy Chief Administrative Officer, City of Albuquerque
Gilbert A. Montano has worked for the City of Albuquerque for more than five years. He is currently the Deputy Chief Administrative Officer (DCAO) for the City of Albuquerque. Prior to this, he worked as the Senior Advisor to the Chief Administrative Officer and also as a Policy Analyst for the Albuquerque City Council. Mr. Montano holds two Bachelor’s degrees as well as two Master's degrees. Prior to working in government Mr. Montano owned and operated a technical writing and project management business which mainly contracted with Sandia and Los Alamos National Labs in New Mexico.
